| Many of the other forums I've seen have this thing called "forum games." In it, people basically create random games, and whoever wants to play just posts in the topic. i.e. - example wrote:
- The abbreviation game (note: I did take this from another forum.)
Rules: I, the first poster, posts a acronym, that is completely random. Each of the following posts must contain the following 1. A logical expansion of the acronym. 2. Another acronym. i.e. : - 1st post wrote:
- B.A.N.A.N.A.
- 2nd post wrote:
- Boring and nagging and never awesome.
A.P.P.L.E. Okay, that was a bad choice of an example. Basically, you say the rules, then start off the game. There can also be "official games" where, rather than an actual game, is more of a contest. You would either bet points, and those would be the prize at the end, or there is no cost, and the prize is something like a deck list, sig, or profile pic. Those games must be started by admins or moderators, although regular members of the academy may co-start it with an admin or mod. Of course, those games must have an actual "ending", as opposed to the regular forum games, which will never end. So? What do you think? |
