Take this as you may but there are plenty of confirmations of this being the final banlist in Japan.

wow banning sangan lool, and in my opinion the Wind-Ups are still gonna be good cause you can still SS many different ways besides with Wind-Up Zenmaitys.

In the words of the higher ups lol, Sangan is being banned because of his usefulness, he is not that great, but you can use him to easily summon broken monsters. Wind up zenmaity, is broken so they are banning him lol, wind up magician is used to play broken cards, one day of peace is useless just get rid of it already, solemn warning and rai-oh are being limited and semi-limited because they stop Konami from making money otherwise. All the other cards are being changed but until the new cards come out i don't know why.

Konami is trying to kill Wind-Ups already. Wind-Ups have been around for 3-4 formats and they continuously top which isn't good for business. So by hitting Zenmaity the stop the loop that allows them to go off so hard. The reason Magician is going to 1 is because of the Magician + Shark combo. If a Wind-Up player opens up with those two cards in hand then they basically won the round because the loop only requires those two cards. They want to slow down Wind-Ups and stop all of their shenanigans . Wind-Ups have had a very good run and Konami wants to put them to rest even if only for 1 or 2 banlists.

Yeah, that does make sense, Konami has stated that there will be a new ritual archtype, and more synchros that will combo nicely with blackwings. They probably just want us to waste money on the new cards before they re-release the old ones and un-ban things lol.

From what I see, I think BW will make a comback and Wind-Ups won't go away but they will die down a bit. I just might begin to build my BW deck again.
