Each tournament will use the following rules:
double elimination
Match play
Must be on DN. EXCEPTION: Can be on devpro if both sides agree.
Winner must provide screenshot.
No burn, stall, ftk, exodia, or meta decks.
Meta = elemental dragons, mermails, evilswarm, prophecy, dino rabbit, and fire fists.

@ Polar: yeah, but i made the promise assuming that DN would be back up before i got home from school. I was disappointed.

@ fireanshu: yeah, and so can anybody else, assuming no duels occur. However, use your planned DN username as your name for the event.

To be honest it kind of seems like this may never happen... DN could go down for along time at this rate >_> oh well seems like we could make ti a big tourney at-least at this rate? More rules modification if needed/wanteds too.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I'm hoping to push the number of participants to at least 16 before the tournament restarts. As of right now, i'm pretty satisfied with the rules, but they probably will be modified a few times before DN is on consistently again.

Okay, some announcements.
1. I will be accepting signups until we reach 16 people or i become confident in DN's ability to remain stable. i.e. it goes for 3 days in a row with no crashes.
2. All applicants must use their planned DN username for the tourney as their name in the challonge site. There should be a button for that somewhere. Also, if this username is different from your academy username, you must post here.
3. Jade, can you please edit your post to say if that is your planned DN username? If it isn't, see #2 and edit your post to say your DN username.
4. May whoever kaizerzack20 is please step forwa...i mean respond to this post.

After much consideration (a.k.a. all of 3 seconds), i have decided to set the starting date as Monday, unless DN crashes for more than an hour at any point during the weekend.
