Hello Everyone,

The Objective of this contest is to create your own archetype, with all submissions being judged by the Academy Population.

Archetype Creation Contests Rubric:

1. NO modifying already established Archetypes. BE ORIGINAL.

2. A Minimum of 8 Main Deck Cards (5 monsters and 3 spells/traps) and a Minimum of 2 Extra Deck Cards.

3. Creating an Archetype to be overpowered will not give you a win. The more realistic your archetype is, the more points you will receive.

4. You must provide a picture for all your cards. To simplify matters, it is highly recommended every contestant use http://www.yugiohcardmaker.net/ to create their cards, so it is easier for people to view the cards if the contestant provides links to the images of the cards.



Judging Rubric:

1. Originality (Has something like this been created before)- x/10 points.

2. Realism (How realist is the Archetype, as in can you see Konami creating it)- x/10 points.

3. Structure (Does it meet all the all the requirements)- x/10 points.

All Submissions will be Judged by the Academy Population, and the scores will be averaged out to chose a winner.

All Submissions should be submitted in a reply post here before May 17th, 2013.

Keep in mind Judging will not take place until after this date so that everyone gets a fair chance to submit their entries.


When Submitting an Entry:

Name of Archetype: The Name should be Bold

For Each Card Entry Please Copy Paste The Following:

When using the code make sure to get rid of the x's after "spoiler" and "img".

If you are not sure how to use the code, please ask an Admin, Mod, or Myself, and we will help you. This code is to ensure that the topic is not huge with hundreds of pictures of cards.


When Judging Entries

Judging will not take place until after the 17th.

When Judging please follow this format:

Name of Archetype: x,y,z, - The variables represent the points which you assigned for each category in the order which was provided earlier.

IF YOU JUDGE ONE ENTRY YOU MUST JUDGE THEM ALL, PLAYING FAVORITES WILL NOT HELP IN THIS CONTEST, BUT IT IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE GETS THE SAME NUMBER OF JUDGES!

To the judging table with ye'! Cuz' I know ain't nobody got time fo dat...I know I don't.

You should really participate, in all honestly using the site, it takes about five mins max to make a card. EVERYONE SHOULD PARTICIPATE!

but it take's quite awhile to come up with a GOOD concept and find GOOD pictures etc...
